  • Zinc Powder for Mechanical Galvanizing

     

    Zinc powder products are increasingly used for the galvanizing anti-corrosion of relatively small steelworks, such as prefabricated steel components, bolts, screws, drive pins.     Product Feature:

    1、We have two kinds of advanced high energy milling production lines, one for dry milling flake zinc products and one for wet milling flake zinc products, both of which can produce customized products according to specific customer requests. All flake zinc product series are surface modified by multilayer coating treatment.

    2、Compared to spherical zinc powder, flake zinc product series are with better covering ability, better floatability, better shielding performance and metal luster. In the preparation of zinc-rich coating, flake zinc's particles are arranged as scale-shaped multi-layers with contact method being surface contact, which could improve conductivity, densify the coating and extend corrosion pathways. It can also reduce the zinc consumption per unit of area and the coating thickness.

    3、For salt spray resistance, corrosion resistance and environmental protection, the Dacromet coating using flake zinc as raw material shows a distinct better performance in comparation to the one that applies electricity galvanization or hot galvanizing.

    5、Flake zinc-aluminium alloy powder and flake zinc-aluminium alloy paste provide better stability, better corrosion performance and better metallic looks, which can be used in non-chromate zinc-aluminum coatings.

    6、The coating using flake zinc product series as raw material has better corrosion performance due to better floatability, metal luster, adhesion, low permeability and porosity.

    7、Compared at the same level of anticorrosive performance, the coating applying flake zinc product series as raw material uses much less amount of zinc per unit of area and is more environmentally friendly than the coating using spherical zinc powder.

     

    Functions: In addition to its application in the preparation of Dacromet coatings and zinc-rich anti-corrosion coatings, Hunan New Well link's flake zinc powder products are widely used in anti-corrosion coatings and decoration of iron and steel products, steel structures and hardware.

     

    Packaging: Typically packed in iron drums lined with plastic film bags (per drum of 50kg/25kg) and can be customized according to customer requirements.

     

    Storage and transportation: Products should be stored in dry and ventilative warehouse without acid, alkali, and inflammables. Be cautious of moisture, water and fire as well as packaging damage and spillage in storage and transportation.
